Hello China!!

After a long day of travel, we have arrived in China!!  We flew out of La Crosse on Wednesday morning and arrived in Beijing 22 hours later, after stops in Minneapolis and Seattle.   We're so glad to have Elli with us on this trip.  She slept for about 5 hours on our 12 hour flight from Seattle to Beijing, so she has quite a bit of energy right now, even though it is 12:30 a.m. here.  

We will spend the next 2 days in Beijing.  We're thankful to have a guide while we're here.  In the morning we're hoping to see The Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, both within walking distance of our hotel. Later in the the day we're planning to travel to The Summer Palace.
